1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GreenTag (“the Service”) at greentaghq.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including individuals, businesses, and organizations.

2. Description of Service

GreenTag is a compliance management platform designed for food service operators. The Service provides tools to track permits, employee certifications, documents, inspections, and regulatory compliance requirements.GreenTag provides informational content and organizational tools — it does not constitute legal advice and does not guarantee compliance with any specific law or regulation.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@greentaghq.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are charged according to the pricing plan you select. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• All fees are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Lifetime access plans are one-time payments that do not renew.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• Prices may change with 30 days advance notice.

Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties not covered by your subscription plan.
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights or contains malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data.

6. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of all data, documents, and content you upload or create in the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant GreenTag a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. GreenTag does not verify the accuracy of compliance information you enter and is not responsible for regulatory decisions made based on the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, AI systems, trademarks, logos, and all content created by GreenTag, is owned by GreenTag and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

The GreenTag name, logo, and all associated marks are proprietary to GreenTag. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

8. AI Features Disclaimer

The Service includes AI-powered features including a Compliance Advisor and document extraction tools. These features use artificial intelligence which may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional compliance advice.

Always verify regulatory requirements directly with the relevant government agency. GreenTag is not responsible for any fines, penalties, business interruptions, or compliance failures arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENTAG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GreenTag, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate your account at any time. You may cancel your subscription through the billing settings in your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. You may export your data before termination. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it may be deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
